The piece

SORA explores the contrast between softness and structure. Its oversized upholstered frame creates an almost inflated architectural form around the sleeping surface, while the continuous timber cylinder introduces a precise horizontal element.

Instead of using a traditional flat headboard, SORA transforms the headboard into a sculptural object—giving the bed a distinctive identity from the front, side and rear.
