Named BOLHA, Portuguese for “bubble,” the chair explores the idea of furniture as a soft protective form. Its exaggerated rounded volumes evoke inflated cushions gathered into a single sculptural object.

Design Details
The chair is constructed visually from three principal volumes: a thick rounded lower base, a recessed central seat and an oversized tubular backrest that curves continuously around the sitter to form both the back and armrests.
Soft seams follow the curved geometry rather than interrupting it, emphasizing the chair's inflated, almost hand-sculpted appearance.
