The piece
SADDLE is built around the relationship between three tactile materials: wood, fabric and leather. The architectural timber frame gives the sofa its strength and identity, while the suspended-looking cushions soften the composition. Leather straps become an intentional design detail rather than something to conceal, referencing traditional saddle-making and handcrafted furniture construction.
